Terms and Conditions

Effective January 1, 2026

Kingston Concrete Company, kingstonconcretecompany.com, hello@kingstonconcretecompany.com

Accepting these terms

These terms cover your use of this website and any work you hire Kingston Concrete Company to do. Kingston Concrete Company is a concrete contractor in Kingston, NY, and we serve homeowners and property owners in Kingston and the cities around it.

By using this site, asking for an estimate or signing off on a job with us, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. If a signed estimate or contract for your job says something different from this page, the signed document controls for that job.

You can start from our home page, read more about us, or reach us through the contact page.

What our services include

We do concrete work such as driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, garage floors, slabs, footings, foundations, retaining walls, decorative and stamped concrete, and concrete cutting. The descriptions on this site are general, so they don't promise that a particular service, finish or method fits your property.

The work we'll actually do for you is the work written in your estimate or contract. Anything added or changed after that, such as a bigger slab, a different finish or extra base work we find once the old concrete is out, needs your approval before we do it, and it may change the price and the schedule.

Estimates and pricing

Estimates are free, done on site and come with no obligation. We look at the job in person because the size, the condition of the ground, access for trucks and equipment, removal of old concrete and the finish you choose all move the price.

An estimate is our best figure for the work it describes, based on what we can see that day. Some conditions only show up once the job is open, such as soft or wet ground under an old slab, buried debris or roots, and we'll explain those to you and get your okay before any change to the price. Unless your estimate says otherwise, an estimate stays good for the period written on it, because material prices can change.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We'll give you a start date once you approve the estimate, but concrete depends on the weather. Rain, freezing temperatures or very hot days can push a pour back, because pouring in the wrong conditions can leave a weak surface, and we won't do that just to keep a date.

After the pour, the new concrete needs time to cure, which is the wait while it hardens and gains strength, before you walk or drive on it. We'll tell you how long to stay off it, and damage from using it early, including tire marks, footprints or cracks, isn't covered by us.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, tell us as early as you can by phone at (845) 303-8582 or through our contact page. If we've already ordered materials, scheduled a concrete delivery or started work, you may owe for those costs, as your contract spells out.

Payment terms

Your estimate or contract sets the amount due, any deposit and when each payment is due. Payment is due on the dates it lists, and we may hold off on starting or continuing the work until a payment that's due has been made.

If a balance goes unpaid, we may charge late fees or collection costs where New York law allows, and we may use the remedies the law gives contractors for unpaid work. If you have a question about a bill, call us before the due date so we can sort it out.

Warranty and what we can't promise

We stand behind our work, and if something isn't right with the job we did, call us and we'll come look at it. Any written warranty for your job is the one in your contract, and it covers only what it says.

Concrete is a natural material, and small hairline cracks can show up even on a well-built slab as it dries and moves with the seasons. We cut control joints, which are planned grooves that give the slab a place to crack in a straight line, but we can't promise a slab will never crack. Color, texture and finish can also vary from samples and photos.

We aren't responsible for problems caused by things outside our work, such as frost heave, settling of soil we didn't prepare, poor drainage elsewhere on the property, de-icing salts, heavy vehicles beyond what the slab was built for, tree roots, or changes and repairs made by others. Except for what your contract states in writing, and as far as the law allows, we don't give any other warranty, written or implied.

Limitation of liability

As far as New York law allows, our total responsibility for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't responsible for indirect losses, such as lost use of your driveway, lost income or other costs that follow from a delay or a problem.

Before we dig, you'll need to tell us about anything buried on your property that utility marking won't find, such as sprinkler lines, private wiring, septic parts or drain pipes. We aren't responsible for damage to buried items we weren't told about.

The information on this website is general and offered as is. It isn't advice for your specific property, and we aren't responsible for decisions made from it without an on-site estimate.

Resolving disagreements

If you're unhappy with something, call us first at (845) 303-8582 or reach us through the contact page. Most problems get settled faster by talking on site than any other way, and we'll make a good-faith effort to work it out with you.

If we can't settle it between us, either side may bring the matter to a court in the New York county where the work was done, unless your contract sets out a different process such as mediation or arbitration.

Governing law

These terms and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of New York. If a court finds any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest of the terms still apply.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time, and the version posted on this page is the one in effect. Changes won't alter a contract you've already signed with us.

If you have questions about these terms, get in touch through our contact page or call (845) 303-8582.
